The Subject Masters therefore brings to you its first annual inter school inter class skill challenge, the Talent Master to master the necessary skills while still in school :

  • All competitions shall be judged by industry experts
  • A candidate/team can participate in all the three events
  • Each event will involve two rounds
  • Each team to comprise of a maximum of two students
  • Each team can have mixed members across three classes IX, X and XI
  • Each competition/event to have 6 prizes : One FIRST Prize worth Rs.2500/- ; Two SECOND Prizes each worth Rs.1200/- and Three THIRD Prizes each worth Rs.500/-
  • Last date for submission of the entries : 20th October 2023

'THE PRESENTATION CHAMPION'

Make a PPT on any ONE of the following topics of contemporary importance in English:

  • Devastating Oceanic Pollution
  • Raging Wild Fires Across the World
  • Expanding Sink Holes Everywhere

Rules:

  1. The PPT should be of 10-12 slides including the Cover page slide and the Thank You slide
  2. The Cover Page slide (Slide No1) should include the names, class and phone numbers of the team members, and the topic of presentation.
  3. The Presentation should be submitted in .ppt/.pptx format
  4. Each team to comprise of 1-2 candidates
  5. Final selections to be after the second round with live narration by the candidates selected in the first round, after providing adequate proof of class enrolled in.
  6. The PPTs shall be judged and the Final Prizes shall be declared on the basis of presentation style, clarity of the subject, narration and communication skill.
  7. Last date for submission of the PPT : 20th of October 2023

PRIZES:

  • First prize : Rs. 2500/-
  • Two Second Prizes : Rs. 1200/- each

'NEWS ANCHOR SPECIALIST

Make a news video report on any ONE of the following topics with background voice over either in Hindi or English:

  • Chandrayaan3
  • The G20 summit
  • Asian Games

Rules:

  1. The video should should be of 2:45 to 3 minutes duration including introduction and conclusion.
  2. The face of the narrator should be visible on one side/corner of the video while narrating.
  3. Each team to comprise of 1-2 candidates
  4. Final selections to be after the second round after providing adequate proof of the class enrolled in.
  5. The videos shall be judged on the basis of presentation style, graphics, clarity of the subject, correct pronunciation, diction, choice of words, narration and communication skill.
  6. Last date for submission of the video : 20th of October 2023

Make and Submit a Research Report on any of the below topics:

Topic 1: Apple Inc. has lost on the Asian Market: The Way Out

All latest market share and revenue reports are pointing towards to a declining share of Apple Inc., the manufacturer of the coveted Apple iPhones, i pads, Mac Book etc. in the Asian Market. The importance of the Asian market stems from the fact that Asia has some of the biggest, richest and most populous economies of the world including Japan, China, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea etc. Losing on such an important market spells doom for any company. Make a report analyzing the problem and suggesting a solution for Apple Inc.


Topic 2: The Move to Green Energy may Create More Losers than Gainers: The Way Out


The efforts of many countries to shift to bio fuels and other sources of green energy will create a better and pollution free environment for all to live in. But simultaneously it will spell doom for many countries and companies which are currently dependent on export of oil and coal for their earnings. These companies and countries are likely to go bankrupt as people shift to biofuels leading to huge drop in their demand and corresponding loss of employment opportunities in them. Make a research report analyzing the problem and suggesting a solution for the same.

Rules:

  1. Each team to comprise of 1-2 candidates.
  2. The report shall not be shorter than or longer than the word limit of 2500-3000 words.
  3. The report shall be typed in Word format and submitted in PDF format.
  4. The report shall be complete with graphs, figures, data charts, tables, maps, etc.
  5. Final selections to be after the second round, after providing adequate proof of the class enrolled in.
  6. The research report shall be judged on the basis of presentation style, clarity of the subject, and the extent of data analytics, graphs, charts etc. included.
  7. Last date for submission of the report : 20th of October 2023.
